Brian Berkey

Brian is a chemical engineer by education and profession, having worked in the chemical industry for the last 48 years. He is “semi-retired” continuing to do some part time consulting work in chemical process safety. He was ordained to ministry in the Atlantic Northeast District in 2016 and serves as a co-pastor at the Jennersville Church of the Brethren. He also serves as the moderator for the Wilmington Church of the Brethren. He has been a member at the Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren since 1989. Brian grew up in the Church of the Brethren in Western Pennsylvania, near Johnstown. He has been an Annual Conference Delegate several times as well as a District Conference delegate and has served as Atlantic Northeast District Conference Moderator. He is married with two sons, who are both also married and living in Maryland. He has 7 grandchildren. He has worked with the Jennersville congregation in various capacities for nearly 30 years.
